Recap from Week 1: First of all, is Dallas better or Philly worse than expected? Both? That game should not have been that close. I first noted to avoid the hype and sit George Pickens in that game. I was right, as he ended up with only 30 yards receiving and nothing else. I then noted to sit the Dallas D. Well, they lost and gave up 24 points with only 1 sack. Not good enough; I was right to sit them too. Finally, I noted to start Xavier Worthy in the Friday night game. Unfortunately, he got hurt in the first series, nothing anyone could have predicted, but it made me wrong to start him since he ended up with nothing.
Week 2 brings us a matchup against 2 probable NFC playoff teams, and two first week victors, in Washington visiting the Pack in Lambeau. In this game, first off, let’s bench the rookie Croskey-Merritt. While he did well against the Giants, the Pack did a good job holding down the Lions 2 RBs. Last week, looking at what the Lions TE did against the Pack, Ertz should be a solid play this week. Finally, for the Packers, even though he is on a pitch count, I think Reed has another solid game in limited action. Maybe more yards. Maybe another TD. Maybe both. Just maybe.
