Did your sitters take a load off in Week 2? Did my picks take a load off too? Let’s see. First off, at QB, I said to sit Tua and Nix. Tua got 315 yards passing, 2 TDs, and a pick. I was wrong to sit him. Nix ended up with 206 yards passing, 20 yards rushing, 3 TDs, and a pick. I was wrong to sit him too. At RB, I said to sit Jaylen Warren and Isiah Pacheco. Warren got 48 yards rushing and 86 yards receiving. I was wrong to sit him. Pacheco got 22 yards rushing, 7 yards receiving, and nothing else. I was right to sit him. At wide out, I said to sit Zay Flowers and Michael Pittman. Flowers got 75 yards in the air and nothing else, so I was right to sit him. Pittman ended up with only 40 yards receiving and nothing else. I was right to sit him too. At tight end, I said to sit Mike Gesicki and T. J. Hockenson. Gesicki got 18 yards in the air and nothing else, so I was right to sit him, while Hockenson ended up with even less with only 12 yards in the air and nothing else. I was right to sit him too. For the team defenses, I said to sit the Browns and the Bears. The Browns lost, gave up 41 points, along with 3 sacks. I was right to sit them. The Bears also lost, gave up 52 points, along with nothing else. I was right to sit them too. Ended better than I started. Let’s get into our Week 3 sitters.

QB:

Kyler Murray: Up against a division rival on the road. And since he just doesn’t produce enough volume to over compensate things like that, this is not a good matchup.

Bo Nix: Another one with a road game against a division rival. Plus, his opponent, the Chargers have an even better pass D. Not the match up you want here either.

RB:

Josh Jacobs: I mean, if you have options, use them as he faces a Cleveland rush D that barely gives up 2 yards a carry. Better hope for a goal line opportunity if you insist.

Chuba Hubbard: Can you keep banking on your starting RB getting a receiving TD every week and getting less than 60 yards on the ground per match? You can’t against a top 5 rush D in Atlanta.

WR:

Drake London: Who’d have thought Carolina would have given up the 3rd fewest fantasy points to the position so far this year? Not me. And not worth the risk.

Ladd McConkey: Herbert, unfortunately for Ladd owners, is spreading the ball around. Combine that with a stout Denver pass D, the odds do not look good here.

TE:

Ja’Tavion Sanders: Not a good matchup as he squares off against a Falcons D that is #1 against tight ends so far this year.

Dalton Schultz: He has not done a lot so far, and this week he faces a Jags D that has done fare the well so far against the position. Not the matchup to light things up for him.

D:

Browns: I am 2-0 sitting them, and I will be 3-0 as they will lose again – this time at home to a Packers team that is just better than them.

Steelers: Looking at their 1st 2 games, this D has a lot of work to do to just be okay, much less good. On the road against a decent offense, not a chance I am willing to take.
