Week 3 Recap: 3 weeks of stellar starters, and many more to go, right? Were my starters stellar or more Stella!? Let’s see. At QB, I said to start Drake Maye and Caleb Williams. Maye ended up with 268 yards passing, 45 yards rushing, 2 TDs, and 2 TOs. Just over projections so I was right to start him. Williams got 298 yards passing, 12 yards rushing, and 4 TDs. I was right to start him too. At RB, I said to start Jordan Mason and Rhamondre Stevenson. Mason got 116 yards rushing and 2 TDs so I was right to start him. Stevenson, however, got only 18 yards rushing, 38 yards receiving, and lost 2 fumbles. I was wrong to start him. At wide out, I said to start Matthew Golden and D. J. Moore. My Golden pick was not so, for he only got 52 yards receiving, 9 yards rushing, and nothing else, so I was wrong to start him. Moore ended up with 21 yards receiving, 7 yards rushing, and a TD. Let’s call this one a push. At tight end, I said to start Kyle Pitts and Juwan Johnson. Pitts ended up with 39 yards receiving and nothing else; I was wrong to start him. Johnson was better with 51 yards receiving, but he also got nothing else, so I was wrong to start him too. For the team defenses, I said to start the Seahawks and the Chiefs. The Sea Birds won, gave up 13 points, along with 2 sacks, a pick, a blocked punt, and punt return for a TD. I was very right to start them. The Chiefs also won, gave up only 9 points, along with 2 sacks and 2 picks so I was right to start them too. Alright, ended on a good note. Let’s see what week 4 has in store for us.

QB:

Geno Smith – So far this season: 1 good game, 1 bad game, and 1 game on point. Game 4 will bring him his 2nd good game of the year as he faces a bottom 3 pass D in Chicago.

Tua Tagovailoa – He faces a Jets team this week, statistically at least, that is the worst team in the league against the pass. Therefore, by the transitive property, Tua should have a good game.

RB:

Omarion Hampton – No Najee. No timeshare. Time for the rookie to show his lead back status, and fortunately for him, it will come against a poor Giants defense.

Ashton Jeanty – Speaking of rookies, Jeanty has not been quality, but he has a poor Bears defense this week, so the chances are good.

WR:

Romeo Doubs – The Packers face the worst pass D in the league in the Cowboys. The question is who will Love throw it to. My money is on Doubs getting play this game this week.

Rome Odunze – Convinced he is now the WR to have in Chicago yet? I am, and he should have another good game against a bottom 3 pass D in the Raiders.

TE:

David Njoku – He will push Fannin to the side and take over his rightful spot shining against a Lions team that is bottom 3 against the position so far.

T. J. Hockenson – He finally did something last week, and this week he faces a Pittsburgh D that is worst in the league against the position. Good matchup for him overseas.

D:

Dolphins – Not many times I will say to start the Dolphins D, but at home versus the Jets I will. Battle of 0-3. Dolphins will prevail.

Rams – They almost pulled it off against the Eagles. Back at home, they will give the Colts their 1st loss. Don’t be afraid.
