Recap from Week 5: I did not watch this game. I found the Yankees vs Red Sox postseason matchup more compelling. I hope you enjoyed it. First off, after press time for last week’s early edition, the 49ers decided not to play Purdy, Pearsall, and Jennings. So, let’s wipe them away as if they never existed. This leaves us with McCaffrey, Stafford, Williams, Nacua, and both kickers for the start side and Adams and Higbee as sitters. Beginning with our starters, McCaffrey ended up with 57 yards rushing, 82 yards receiving, and a TD. I was right to start him. Stafford got 389 yards passing, 3 TDs, and lost a fumble. I was right to start him too. Kyren Williams ended up with 65 yards rushing, 66 yards receiving, 2 TDs, and lost a fumble. I was right once again. Nacua got 85 yards and a TD, thereby making my rightness continue. Regarding the kickers, we have a push here as Karty got 5 points while Pinerio got 14. On the sit side, Adams ended up with 88 yards and nothing else. About as expected, so another push. And finally, Higbee ended up with nothing, and neither did any of the other Rams TEs, so I was right to sit him/them.

Week 6 brings us North to New York where the Giants host the Eagles. Let’s go obvious 1st. Coming off their 1st loss, it’s hard to imagine the Eagles losing 2 games in a row, especially to the Giants who just lost to the lowly Saints. The Eagles D is a solid play here. On some position players, I would keep Dart and Skattebo on the bench against the Eagles D, and I would be comfortable in a rebound game for A. J. Brown. He has to have a good game, like a really good game sometime, right? RIght? In summary, Giants players – no and Eagles players – yes.
