NOTE: Still under the weather, so please forgive the laconic nature in this week’s article.

  1. I wonder if Chris Moore (WR-Was) is a sneaky good play for Week 07.  With both Terry McLaurin (WR-Was) and Deebo Samuel (WR-Was) ruled out, Moore looks to be the wide out to see the most snaps and opportunities.  In addition, if Zach Ertz (TE-Was) plays—he is currently Questionable, he is going to see targets and will very likely finish as a top 6 TE for the week.

  1. Additionally, Jacory Croskey-Merritt (RB-Was) should see many, many chances against Dallas in Week 06 as long as fumbles are avoided and the gamescript does not get out of hand.  For deeper leaguers, Jeremy McNichols (RB-Was) should also see some targets in this game, as Jayden Daniels (QB-Was) has to throw to someone in a game that has the potential to be a shoot-out.

  1. Reacting to TNF’s Pittsburgh-Cincinnati game, my biggest takeaway is that Joe Flacco (QB-Cin) is good enough to make the fantasy relevant Bengals relevant again.  Ja’Marr Chase (WR-Cin) has jumped back into top 3 WR status—the target amount he could receive is crazy good.  Tee Higgins (WR-Cin) returns to the WR2 domain, and Chase Brown (RB) has returned to the RB2 arena as well. Even Flacco himself is a decent QB2. In addition, Cincinatti’s remaining schedule is quite enticing!

  1. I wondered about the usage of D’Andre Swift (RB-Chi) coming out of the Bye Week in last week’s article.  I definitely received my answer, as Swift had a great game in Week 06.  That said, we should also note that he played 56% of the snaps, the lowest percentage he has played all season.  I do not think Swift is going anywhere, but Kyle Monangai (RB-Chi) is not a bad bench stash, just in case.  Remember, this is the same Swift that wound up splitting carries back in Detroit with current HC Ben Johnson as the OC back then.

  1. For IDP players, Tatum Bethune (LB-SF) is the next guy up to replace Fred Warner (LB-SF), and it looks like he is going to be a three-down linebacker.  He is decent Other people to consider, if you missed out on Barrett Carter (LB-Cin), would be Cedric Gray (LB-Ten) or Drake Thomas (LB-Sea).  Neither are seeing 100% of the snaps, but they did see over 90% in Week 06.

  1. I wonder if Matthew Golden (WR-GB) can build upon his Week 06 success.  He still saw less than 70% of the snaps, and Christian Watson (WR-GB) is close to returning. Meanwhile, Romeo Doubs (WR-GB) continues to see the most snaps at the wide out position. I need to see more from Golden in Week 07 for me to have any trust for him down the stretch.

  1. As of this writing, Josh Jacobs (RB-GB) is Questionable against Arizona in Week 07.  Green Bay elevated Pierre Strong Jr. (RB-GB) from the practice squad today.  This suggests that Green Bay may hold out  If so, Emanuel Wilson (RB-GB) immediately becomes a top 15 RB play for the week.

  1. Rashee Rice (WR-KC) will be making his 2025 season debut in Week 07.  To me, he is an immediate top 15 WR for Week 07 and probably a top 10 WR for the rest of the season.  Patrick Mahomes (QB-KC), who is already having a great year, is my number one fantasy QB from this point forward.  Xavier Worthy (WR-KC) is still a WR2 for me.  Hollywood Brown (WR-KC) and Tyquon Thornton (WR-KC) are WR4/5s.  The thought here with Rice’s return is that it will adversely affect the fantasy production of Travis Kelce (TE-KC).  I am not ready to say that.  Kelce my actually benefit from less defensive attention.

  1.  George Kittle (TE-SF), Christian McCaffrey (RB-SF), and Kendrick Bourne (WR-SF) are going to see a lot of targets in Week 07 against Atlanta.

  1. And finally…, I wonder how you organize a party in space.  I guess you just have to planet.
