Week 11 recap: Did you come up snake eyes on this week, week 11? Did I with my picks? Let’s see. First off, at QB, I said to sit Jared Goff and Bo Nix. In his game, Nix ended up with 295 yards passing, 8 yards rushing, and nothing else. I was right to sit him. Goff, meanwhile, had 255 yards passing, a TD, and a pick. I was right to sit him too. For the RBs, I said to sit Kenneth Walker and Saquon Barkley. Walker had 67 yards rushing, 44 yards receiving, and a TD. I was wrong to sit him. Barkley ended up with 83 yards rushing, 7 yards receiving, and nothing else. I was right to sit him again this week. For the wide outs, I said to sit Drake London and Deebo Samuel. London had 119 yards receiving and nothing else. I was wrong to sit him. Samuel ended up with 74 yards receiving and a TD, so I was wrong to sit him too. At tight end, I said to sit Cade Otton and Jake Ferguson. Otton ended up with 28 yards receiving and nothing else, so I was right to sit him. Ferguson, meanwhile, had only 16 yards receiving, but he also got a TD, so I was wrong to sit him. For the team defenses, I said to sit the Broncos and the Eagles. Well, the Broncos won, held the Chiefs to 19 points, along with 3 sacks and a pick. I was happily wrong to sit them. And finally, the Eagles ended up winning, held the Lions to 9 points, along with 2 sacks and a pick. I was wrong to sit them too.
QB:
Dak Prescott – He had one of his worst games the 1st time they played the Eagles this year, and this time around, well the Eagles are actually probably playing better D than then. Sub him out or expect tempered results.
Daniel Jones – He has had a rough go at it of recent, and this week he faces a top 10 pass D in the Chiefs. With a must win game for the Chiefs in KC, I expect the old Daniel Jones to be there.
RB:
Ashton Jeanty – An almost all or nothing guy this year. And this week against the Browns, a top 5 rush D, well that’s a nothing kind of game. Bench him.
Tyrone Tracy, Jr. – He had a great game last week, but with Singletary still getting some love and a matchup against a top 3 rush D in the Lions, let’s temper those expectations back to normal, at least for this week.
WR:
Alec Pierce – Unfortunately, for those of us who have an Indy receiver on our roster, Jones distributes the ball around to all the wide outs and Warren. Considering this, and a matchup against the #1 ranked pass D in KC, I say not worth the risk.
Jauan Jennings – He has another week competing with Pearsall for wide out production, and a matchup against, statistically, a top 5 pass D against receivers in the Panthers. He is not worth the risk. Better options are out there.
TE:
Juwan Johnson – He has scored the last 2 games, and his uptick is there with Shaheed gone, but he faces a Falcons D that is top 3 against the position. Consider benching him.
David Njoku – He is losing more and more play and targets to Fannin, and this week he is going up against a Vegas team that is top 5 against the position. Not worth it.
D:
Jaguars – Was it a fluke? I think so. Don’t buy what happened against the Chargers this past week as going to happen again this week in Arizona. Don’t buy it.
Colts – Benching them has nothing to do with them, but everything to do with their opponent, the Chiefs. This game is in Kansas Cit,y and the Chiefs just lost a big divisional game to the Broncos last week. They are now 5 and 5 so there is no way the Chiefs can lose this game. No way they lose, so no way the Colts win, so no D in Indy to play this week.
