  1. I think a big story this season has been the inconsistency of the Kansas City offense. Talent-wise, on offense, they are simply better than they have been in the last three plus seasons.  The talk around town mentions several reasons: hubris, too many toys, abandonment of the run, aversion to running plays under center, stale playcalling, among others.  Regardless, there is something wrong, and Chiefs correspondents and even fantasy reporters have taken notice.  Look, I am more tuned in to Chiefs coverage than other teams.  I, and many others who follow the Chiefs closely, really have no idea what to expect against Indianapolis in Week 12.  Indianapolis has Charvarius Ward (DB-Ind) returning from injury to pair with newly acquired Sauce Gardner (DB-Ind).  Simply put, this is a legitimate secondary that can cause problems for an opponent’s passing game.  With all of that said, Kansas City has a track record of righting the ship.  I am not bailing on Patrick Mahomes (QB-KC) or Rashee Rice (WR-KC) in what could be a difficult matchup.  As for Travis Kelce (TE-KC), he might see a few more looks than usual.  With Isiah Pacheco (RB-KC) missing another week, Kareem Hunt (RB-KC) is a low-end RB 2 for me.

  1. I wonder if others are in my boat for Week 12.  In one league, my tight end has a Bye Week, so I am searching for a tight end with upside. Brenton Strange (TE-Jax) has been activated from the I.R.  He saw 75 targets per game in his first four games before getting injured early in Week 05.  Instead of competing with Travis Hunter (WR-Jax) and Brian Thomas Jr. (WR-Jax) as he did early in the season, for Week 12, at least, he will be competing with Jacobi Myers (WR-Jax) and Parker Washington (WR-Jax).  Against Arizona, giving up the 12th most fantasy points to the TE position, I like him as a play.  I also would like A.J. Barner (TE-Sea) as an upside play, but Seattle is heavily favored against Tennessee, so Barner just may not see enough action to warrant a start.

  1. I know the reports are 50/50, but I do think Josh Jacobs (RB-GB) winds up playing.  He is just a tough player.  Either way, though, Jacobs fantasy managers would be wise to roster Emanuel Wilson (RB-GB), for not only this week but the rest of the season.  It is that time of year to consolidate your team and have insurance for you top running backs.

  1. My reaction to TNF’s Buffalo-Houston game is this: Woody Marks (RB-Hou) has indeed taken over this backfield, but does it really matter?  Houston’s offensive line is simply awful.  Marks was okay (16-74-0) Thursday night, but that was against the 2nd most generous defense in fantasy to opposing running backs. I am just not sure that his takeover is going to matter this season in fantasy football.

  1. Shedeur Sanders (QB-Cle) could be okay.  He could be awful.  I do not know.  I would stay away from all Cleveland players not named Quinshon Jenkins (RB-Cle).  And for IDP players, Myles Garrett (DE-Cle) against that Las Vegas offensive line is simply unfair.  The carnage that will ensue.  Play Garrett!!!

  1. Despite his Week 11 performance (1 reception for 0 yards), I still think Ricky Pearsall (WR-SF) is going to be a top 20 WR down the stretch.

  1. I mentioned Michael Wilson (WR-Ari) in my Waiver Wire column, saying I felt like it was chasing points picking him, since Marvin Harrison  (WR-Ari) looks likely to return in Week 12.  So…, I did not predict that accurately.  Wilson is a fine play for Week 12, though I would not expect a repeat of Week 11 (15-185-0).

  1. Looks like we get another week of Tampa Bay not having Bucky Irving (RB-TB).  Sean Tucker (RB-TB) is a flex play for me here, mostly due to the opponent (LAR), who gives up the fewest points to the running back position.  Just be careful here, as I do not think Rachaad White (RB-TB) is completely out of the equation.

  1. I really want to think that Darnell Mooney (WR-Atl) and Kyle Pitts  (TE-Atl) should flourish with the amount of targets they should receive with Drake London (WR-Atl) missing time, but that would require faith in Kirk Cousins (QB-Atl).  I simply do not know how much Cousins has left in his arm.  If he does have some throws left, Mooney and Pitts could thrive. In addition, Bijon Robinson (RB-Atl) fantasy managers may be a bit nervous here.  If Cousins falters, so does this offense’s rushing attack.

  1. And finally…, I wonder which side of the turkey has the most feathers. I suppose the outside.
