Week 16 recap: Did I sit you well here at the end of the year with your championship looming? Let’s see. First off, at QB, I said to sit Baker Mayfield and Trevor Lawrence. Mayfield had 145 yards passing, 49 yards rushing, 1 TD, and a pick. I was right to sit him. Lawrence, however, had 279 yards passing, 20 yards rushing, and 4 TDs. I was quite wrong about him. At RB, I said to sit Jaylen Warren and Ashton Jeanty. Warren had the game of his life with 143 yards rushing, 8 yards receiving, and 2 TDs. I was wrong to sit him. Jeanty ended up being even better with 128 yards rushing, 60 yards receiving, and also 2 TDs. I was wrong about him too. At wide out, I said to sit George Pickens and Jakobi Meyers. Looks like they held Lamb and not PIckens who ended up with 130 yards receiving and a TD, thereby making me wrong to sit him. Meyers, however, had only 45 yards receiving and nothing else. I was right to sit him. For the tight ends, I said to sit Hunter Henry and Harold Fannin, Jr. Henry had 35 yards receiving and a TD, so I was wrong to sit him, while Fannin had 1 rushing yard for a TD, along with 34 yards receiving and a receiving TD too. I was wrong to sit him too. For the team defenses, I said to sit the Steelers and the Jaguars. The Steelers pulled off the upset, holding the Lions to 24 points, along with a safety and 3 sacks. I was wrong to sit them. The Jags also won, holding the Broncos to 20 points along with a fumble recovery, a sack, and a pick. I was wrong to sit them too.

QB:

Justin Herbert – I would look elsewhere, if possible on this front, for he faces the #1 ranked pass D in the league in Houston. No takeoffs will go into orbit in this game.

C. J. Stroud – Let’s keep it in the same game and bench the counterpart Stroud too, since the Chargers are also good against the pass, and by good, I mean they are 2nd best in the league against the pass good.

RB:

Breece Hall – He is really the Jets only viable fantasy weapon, but he faces a stiff Patriots rush D this week. Better hope for a little bitty TD to make up for the lack of yardage he will attain.

Rico Dowdle – Fact #1: He has not really done much of recent. Fact #2: He faces a Seattle rush D that has given up the 2nd fewest fantasy points to RBs. What does this equal? Duh, a ride on the pine.

WR:

Michael Pittman, Jr. – You are not still playing him are you? He is clearly not a favorite of Rivers. Bench him.

Khalil Shakir – Yes, he is the #1 wideout for probably the league’s best QB, but this is a game where Allen will be more productive with his legs than his arm as he faces a top 3 pass D in the Eagles. Look elsewhere.

TE:

Dalton Kincaid – Speaking of the Bills and the Eagles D, let’s also bench Kincaid as the Eagles are #1 in the league against tight ends.

Dallas Goedert – And let’s just keep it going and go to the other side and sit Goedert too, as the Bills are top 3 against the position. Bottom line – bench all tight ends in this game.

D:

Bears – On the road against another playoff team in San Fran, who still has hope for the #1 seed. I don’t see the Bears having another crazy, weird comeback win here.

Eagles – Sorry if you are in the championship and you have them going on the road in Buffalo. There is a chance, but I trust in Allen, his legs, and his buddy Captain Cook to take care of business and give Philly an L.
