Here I go. Here we go again. Try to battle me, that’s a sin.
Back to the fantasy football grind. No changes this year on the start and sit format here at the rooster. Usually every Tuesday, maybe Wednesday, I will post my recommendations on who to possibly start or sit for the early gamers, then on Friday, possibly Saturday, I will post my recommendations on who to possibly start and sit for the Sunday and Monday games.
For the weekend games, I will include 2 QBs to start and 2 to sit, 2 RBs to start and 2 to sit, 2 WRs to start and 2 to sit, 2 TEs to start and 2 to sit, and 2 Team Defenses to start and 2 to sit.
For the early gamers, I will denote who to possibly start and sit randomly, trying to include at least 3 notations. Sometimes it may be all starters, while other times it may be all sitters, or maybe a combo of the two. You never know. With that in mind, let’s jump to Week 1.
Let’s open with the opening game. Makes sense, right? It battles dem boys vs dem champs. Well, for the little boys, I am not buying George Pickens as someone to start. Pittsburgh seems to get rid of diva wide receivers, and they have yet to be proven wrong after their departure. Georgie Porgie will fall in line. Don’t buy the hype. Let’s kick the Cows while they are down and sit their team Defense too. Dallas finished in the bottom 5 in team D last year, and they just traded away their best defensive player. This should be a comfortable victory for Philly.
In the Friday night game, let’s be a little more positive and start somebody – Xavier Worthy. He had hype last year; he has hype this year; and he has the #1 slot this week and probably at least until Rice comes back from suspension. Worthy should get plenty of chances from Patty Boy to put up some solid game 1 numbers.
Well, that’s it for the early games for week 1. Good luck everyone, well almost everyone. You know who you are.
