Week 9 recap: We are halfway done and is your team still living on a prayer? Let’s see if I helped or hurt your chances. First off, at QB, I said to start Trevor Lawrence and Sam Darnold. In his game, Lawrence ended up with 220 yards passing, 24 yards rushing, 2 TDs, and a pick. Just enough to make me right to start him. Meanwhile, Darnold ended up with 330 yards passing, 4 TDs, and a pick. I was right to start him too. At RB, I said to start Kimani Vidal and Kareem Hunt. Vidal had only 30 yards rushing and nothing else. I was wrong to start him. Hunt, however, had 49 yards rushing and at TD, so I was right to start him. At wide out, I said to start Nico Collins and Marvin Harrison, Jr. Collins ended up with 75 yards receiving and nothing else. Not enough; I was wrong to start him. Harrison ended up with 96 receiving yards and a TD. I was right to start him. At tight end, I said to start Kyle Pitts and A. J. Barner. Pitts got 38 yards receiving and nothing else. I was wrong to start him. Barner only had 24 yards receiving, but he did get 1 rushing yard which happened to be a rushing TD. Luckily, I was right to start him. For the team defenses, I said to start the Lions and the Cowboys. The Lions ended up losing, giving up 27 points, along with 5 sacks and a pick. The extras make it close but still not good enough. I was wrong to start them. The Cowboys also lost, gave up 27 points, along with 5 sacks. Also not good enough, thereby making me wrong to start them too.

QB:

Caleb Williams – He has become a boom or bust of recent, and his matchup against a bottom 10 pass D in the Giants spells for a bit of a dynamite – BOOM!

Jared Goff – His numbers have tailed off this year and even of recent, but against a broken and battered Commanders team, you should be confident he can re-kindle some of those old numbers from days of yore.

RB:

Rico Dowdle – No more picking both to do well or not in Carolina; it looks like Carolina is going with Uncle Rico for now. This week, with that in mind, his match up against the Saints is a juicy one.

D’Andre Swift/Kyle Monangai – Since I left Carolina, I need a new dual RBs, and the Bears have obliged me with the work Monangai did last week. This week, the Bears face one of the worst rush D’s in the league in the Giants. They will play the hot hand and both backs will be given the opportunity to shine, and I say both will.

WR:

Garrett Wilson – He will be back, and he will be the best thing in the dumpster fire that is the Jets. Don’t be afraid of their QB situation. Play him.

Wan”Dale Robinson – He is getting the targets. You take that and add in the fact he faces the 2nd worst pass D in the Bears, and you get loads of opportunities and chances for points and then some. Worth the risk.

TE:

Dalton Kincaid – He faces a Dolphins team that just gave up 2 TDs to Andrews last week. Kincaid should keep rolling from last week’s big game against the Chiefs.

Dalton Schultz – He also is looking forward to keepngi it rolling as he faces a Jax D that just let Bowers explode all over their face. Picture it.

D:

Lions – They just got beat by Minnesota at home, but this road game against a Commanders team battered and broken smells like just what the chef cooked up for them.

Bears – Not usually a D to start, but they have a home game against a Giants team not as good as they were a few weeks ago. Solid Bears win here.
