Recap from Week 10: This game was kind of bleh. Neither team’s offense wanted to win, while both team’s defense showed up. Speaking of D, I said to start the Broncos D and sit the Raiders D. The Broncos won, gave up only 7 points, along with 6 sacks and a pick, while the Raiders lost, gave up only 10 points, along with 2 sacks and 2 picks. Both were good enough to start. A push for me here. I also said to start Brock Bowers. Well, he ended up with only 1 catch for 31 yards and nothing else, so I was wrong to start him. I then noted to start both Bo Nix and Courtland Sutton. Nix ended up with 150 yards passing, 1 TD, and 2 picks, while Sutton got 24 yards receiving and nothing else. I was wrong to start them both. On the sitting side, I said to sit Geno Smith, Ashton Jeanty, and J. K. Dobbins. Smith had 143 yards passing, a pick, and nothing else. I was right to sit him. For the RBs, Jeanty got 60 yards rushing and a TD, so I was wrong to sit him, while Dobbins got more yards with 77 rushing, but no TD so not quite good enough, thereby making me right to sit him.

Week 11 brings us another divisional matchup, and it could end up being a blow out as the Patriots host the Jets. In this game, it’s hard not to just say play Pats and sit Jets. On the Jets side, the only 1 feel comfortable starting is Mason Taylor. The Pats are not the best, actually closer to the bottom of the table, against tight ends. So, if Fields actually throws the ball a few more times than last game, he should be available to do well. On the Pats side, their D is an obvious choice to start, and I would start TreVeyon Henderson too. He should have plenty of touches in this game. And in the same breath for the same reason, I would then sit Drake Maye. While he looks like a good start statistically, I believe the Pats will not need him to light things up to win this game. Their defense and running game will take care of business.
