Week 10 recap: Was your week a perfect 10? Were my picks? Or was it the opposite and barely registering a 1 on the correct swerve? Let’s see. First off, at QB, I said to sit Daniel Jones and Trevor Lawrence. In his game, Jones had 255 yards passing, 53 yards rushing, 3 TDs, and 1 turnover. I was not right to sit him. Lawrence, meanwhile, had 158 yards passing, 35 yards rushing, 1 TD, and 2 TOs. I was right to sit him. At running back, I said to sit Breece Hall and Saquon Barkley. Hall ended up with 83 yards rushing, 42 yards receiving, and a TD. I was wrong to sit him. Barkley, meanwhile, ended up with 60 yards rushing, 41 yards receiving, and nothing else. I was right to sit him. For the WRs, I said to sit Jerry Jeudy and Chris Olave. Jeudy had 78 yards receiving and a TD. I was wrong to sit him. Olave ended up with 104 yards receiving and also a TD. I was wrong to sit him too. For the tight ends, I said to sit T. J. Hockenson and Luke Musgrave. The Hock got 8 yards receiving and nothing else. I was right to sit him. Musgrave got 23 yards receiving and also nothing else, so I was right to sit him too. For the team defenses, I said to sit the 49ers and the Steelers. The 9ers lost, gave up 42 points, along with 1 sack and nothing else. I was right to sit them. The Steelers also lost, gave up 25 points, along with 5 sacks. Not quite good enough, so I was right to sit them too.
QB:
Jared Goff – Back to the bench for him as he faces an Eagles pass D that just shut down Jordan Love. Not worth the risk in this road matchup.
Bo Nix – He looked bad against the Raiders last week, and this week he faces an even better pass D, statistically, in the Chiefs. He should be okay, but just not good enough to do well and be the cause of a win.
RB:
Saquon Barkley – I was right to sit him last week, and I am keeping him on the bench this week too. He faces a top 3 rush D in the Lions. Not good sir. Not good.
Kenneth Walker – He has touches stolen by his mate, and then you take that with the fact he faces the #1 ranked rush D in the league in the Rams to deal with, and you say benchie benchie benchie.
WR:
Drake London – He might do a little something, but he is over-projected in my opinion this week, probably based upon what he did the past 2 weeks. You see, those games were against bottom ranked pass defenses, and this week he faces a much better one in Carolina. Please.
Deebo Samuel – Did you know the Dolphins currently rank among the top teams against wide receivers so far? I didn’t either. Not worth the risk, especially since no Daniels to get it to him.
TE:
Jake Ferguson – He has been sluggish statistically the last couple of games, and he faces a Raiders team that is top 5 against tight ends so far. Another slow game for him.
Cade Otton – He had a stellar game last week, but this week he faces a Bills defense that is second in the league against tight ends. Better options are out there.
D:
Broncos – I know they are one of the top defenses in the league, but the way their offense played last week, the defense will be affected against a talented Chiefs offense. Plus, KC is coming off a bye week. A Bronco home loss is pending.
Eagles – Another good D to sit is Philly. They will face a very talented Lions offense that could easily steal one from them. Not worth the risk. Better options are out there.
