Week 13 recap: Was week 13 lucky or unlucky? Did I get snake eyes and prove to be your cooler? Let’s see. First off, at QB, I said to sit Daniel Jones and Aaron Rodgers. Jones ended up with 201 yards passing and 2 TDs. I was wrong to sit him. Rodgers, meanwhile, had 117 yards passing and lost a fumble. I was right to sit him. At RB, I said to sit Rico Dowdle and Aaron Jones. Dowdle had 58 yards rushing, 21 yards receiving, and nothing else. I was right to sit him. Jones ended up with 3 yards rushing, 22 yards receiving, and lost a fumble. I was right to sit him too. For the WRs, I said to sit Davante Adams and Terry McLaurin. Adams gathered in only 58 yards receiving, but he got 2 scores with that so I was wrong to sit him. McLaurin, meanwhile, got 96 yards receiving and a TD. I was wrong to sit him too. For the tight ends, I said to sit Brenton Strange and the Steelers TEs. Strange had 45 yards receiving and a TD, so I was wrong to sit him. For the Steelers, the best of the 3 was Washington who had 45 yards receiving and nothing else. I was right to sit them all. For the team defenses, I said to sit the Texans and the Steelers. The Texans won, held the Colts to 16 points, along with a sack. I was wrong to sit them. The Steelers, meanwhile, lost, gave up 26 points, along with a fumble recovery and a pick. I was right to sit them.
QB:
Jacoby Brissett – This will, statistically speaking, be the best defensive passing team he will have faced so far this season in the top 7 Rams pass D. Look elsewhere.
Bo Nix – He has not done well with the stats recently, and he especially did not do well the last time he faced the Raiders. Look elsewhere here too.
RB:
Ashton Jeanty – Speaking of the Raiders, Jeanty got lucky with a TD the last time out against the Broncos. He won’t be so lucky this time, and his yardage will be limited too. Bench the rookie.
D’Andre Swift – Combine fact #1 – He is losing more and more touches to Monongai each week with fact #2 – He faces a top 5 rush D in the Packers this week, and you know what this equals you saucy minx.
WR:
Nico Collins – He faces a Kansas City secondary that is top 10 against the pass. He will be okay in ppr leagues due to short passes, but the yardage will suffer. If you insist, better hope he gets an itty bitty TD.
Terry McLaurin – He faces a Vikings D that is top 5 against the pass. No matter that Daniels is back in the starting lineup, he is still not worth the risk here.
TE:
Oronde Gadsden – He has kind of folded of recent, and this week he faces an Eagles D that is #2 against tight ends in yards allowed.
Harold Fannin, Jr. – He splits with Njoku, and this week they face a Titans D that has been stingy for TDs allowed to tight ends. Not worth the risk.
D:
Steelers – They played fairly well against Buffalo, but a road game against rival Baltimore, a matchup no one wants to lose and whoever does, will drop big time on playoff percentage chances, is not worth the risk.
Bears – Another game that could go either way is Chicago at Green Bay, who played well last game. The Bears D has been bend, don’t break bad, but they might get broken by Love. Also, not worth the risk.
