Week 13 recap: Lucky 13, or was it? Did I roll you the right way? Let’s see. First off, at QB, I said to start Jacoby Brissett and Bo Nix. Brissett ended up with 301 yards passing, 16 yards rushing, 2 TDs, and a pick. I was right to start him. Nix, meanwhile, had 321 yards passing, 16 yards rushing, 1 TD, and a pick. About there, so a push here. At RB, I said to start R. J. Harvey and TreVeyon Henderson. Harvey ended up with only 35 yards rushing and 27 yards receiving, but he got 2 TDs, so I was right to start him. Henderson, meanwhile, had 67 yards rushing, 19 yards receiving, and nothing else. Not enough; I was wrong to start him. For the wide outs, I said to start Khalil Shakir and Troy Franklin. Shakir ended up with only 1 catch for 5 yards and nothing else. I was wrong to start him. Franklin, meanwhile, had 21 yards receiving and nothing else. So, I was wrong to start him too. For the tight ends, I said to start Dalton Schultz and Juwan Johnson. Schultz had 55 yards receiving and nothing else; I was wrong to start him. Johnson ended up with 39 yards receiving and also nothing else. I was wrong to start him too. For the team defenses, I said to start the Dolphins and the 49ers. The Dolphins won, held the Saints to 21 points, along with a fumble recovery, 4 sacks, a pick, and a defensive 2 point conversion. I was right to start them. The 49ers also won, held the Browns to 8 points, along with 2 fumble recoveries and 3 sacks. I was right to start them too.

QB:

Daniel Jones – Do you need a QB with a high floor and are okay with a low ceiling? Well, you are in luck if you have Jones as an option at QB this week.

Tyler Shough – Do you need a QB with a low floor but with possibly a high ceiling? Well, you are in luck if you have Shough as an option at QB this week as he faces a Bucs D that is next to last in fantasy points allowed to QBs.

RB:

Kimani Vidal – Don’t be afraid of Philly’s run defense; the Bears sure weren’t. In fact, they have dropped from being a top 10 team against the run to a bottom 10 team against it. Do it.

R. J. Harvey – Don’t be afraid of his paltry yards per carry average. Focus instead on the fact he faces a beatable Raiders D, and he just scores TDs. Do it more.

WR:

Zay Flowers – Like most Ravens, it seems he plays well against Pittsburgh and with their bottom 3 ranking in fantasy points allowed to the position, it should be there for the taking for him.

Jakobi Meyers – He quickly has become the Jags go to receiver, and I do not expect that to change with Thomas back for a 2nd game post-injury. He will get you the yards against a bottom 5 Colts pass D. And maybe a TD too.

TE:

Dalton Kincaid/Dawson Knox – If Kincaid plays, play him. If he does not, play Knox. They face a Bengals pass D that is the worst in the league against the position.

Mark Andrews – He faces a Steelers pass D that is toward the bottom against the position. Like Flowers, he seems to play well against their rival too. So, there’s that.

D:

Buccaneers – Not a team I would usually pick, but with a home matchup against the not quite good enough lowly Saints, I say pick em. Good matchup here.

Browns – Back in the start column for them as they have an even better home matchup playing the Titans, who have an even worse record than the Saints.
