The starters on my team did not start very well. I hope yours, and my picks here at the rooster, did. Let’s see how I did. First off, at QB, I said to start Kyler Murray and Trevor Lawrence. Murray ended up with 163 yards passing, 38 yards rushing, and 2 TDs. I was right to start him. Trev ended up with 178 yards passing, 12 yards rushing, a TD, and a pick. I was wrong to start him. At RB, I said to start Austin Ekeler and Kenneth Walker. Well, Ekeler ceded carries to the rookie so he ended up with only 26 yards rushing, 31 yards receiving, and nothing else. I was wrong to start him. Walker, however, did even less with only 20 yards rushing and basically nothing else. I was wrong to start him too. At wide out, I said to start Jerry Jeudy and Tyreek Hill. Jeudy got 66 yards receiving and nothing else. Again with the wrongness. Hill ended up with less, only 40 yards and nothing else. Still wrong. At tight end, I said to start David Njoku and the Hock. Njoku got 37 yards and nothing else, while the Hock had 15 yards and nothing else. Wrong on both. For team defenses, I said to start the Jaguars and Commanders. The Jags won, held Carolina to 10 points, along with a fumble recovery, 2 picks, and a sack. I was finally right about something. The Commanders also won. They held the Giants to 6 points, along with 2 sacks. I was right here as well. Good note – ended.

QB:

C. J. Stroud: This Stella has still not found his groove, but he might this week against Tampa, who almost gave up 300 yards passing to Penix last week. Good match-up.

Justin Fields: He looked solid against Pittsburgh last week. He even made some passes downfield, unlike when he was with Pittsburgh. Plus, Buffalo just gave up 40 points to Baltimore. This equals a good matchup.

RB:

Javonte Williams: He will not explode on or for you, but as their lead back, he will get you their goal line carries. And against the Giants this week, there should be ample opportunities.

David Montgomery: Play him and Gibbs both this week. Mason and Jones both looked pretty good against Chicago last week. So, Montgomery should have opportunities this week too.

WR:

D. K. Metcalf: He has to right? A game against his former team, he has to right? Rodgers will make sure of it.

Garrett Wilson: Did you see what that okay receiver in Flowers did against the Bills last week? If FIelds continues to play like he did last week, Wilson should be able to continue to shine.

TE:

Hunter Henry: He had a solid first game, and this week he faces a Dolphins D that just gave up 33 points in Week 1.

Brenton Strange: He faces a Cincy D that gave up 100 yards to Cleveland’s 2 tight ends last week. Good match up for him.

D:

Cowboys: Coming off a tough loss, they have a home game and a home game against the lowly Giants to boot. That reads to me like just what the doctor ordered for them to dial up a first win.

Cardinals: Coming off an okay road win, they now have the Panthers at home. Cardinals will be fake gold and start off 2 – 0.
