2 weeks down and so many more to go. Is that a good or bad thing for your team? Let’s see if that is good or bad for me and my picking. For week 2 QBs, I said to start Justin Fields and C. J. Stroud. Fields ended up with a concussion in the 4th, but prior to that, he didn’t do anything accumulating only 27 yards passing (you read that right), 49 yards rushing, and lost a fumble. Not good for me. Meanwhile, Stroud had 207 yards passing, 27 yards rushing, and 1 TD. Just below projections so I was wrong to start him too. At RB, I said to start Javonte Williams and David Montgomery. Williams got 97 yards rushing, 33 yards receiving, and a TD. I was right to start him. Montgomery got 57 yards rushing and a TD as well, thereby making me right to start him too. At wide out, I said to start D. K. Metcalf and Garrett Wilson. Metcalf had only 20 yards receiving, but he got a TD. Right around his projections, so let’s call that one a push. Wilson, however, had 50 yards receiving but not TD, so I was wrong to start him. For the tight ends, I said to start Hunter Henry and Brenton Strange. Henry gathered in a whopping 9 yards receiving and nothing else, while Strange gathered in 17 yards and nothing else. I was wrong to start both of them. For the team defenses, I said to start the Cowboys and the Cardinals. The boys ended up winning, gave up 37 points, along with 3 sacks and a pick. The extras make me right to start them. The Cardinals also won, gave up 22 points, along with 3 sacks, a pick, and a fumble recovery. I was right to start them too. That was week 2; let’s jump into week 3’s starters.

QB:

Caleb Williams: At this point, if a QB is available and plays against Dallas, start them. He has not looked terribly good, but he is still giving us solid numbers. They will be even better against Dallas.

Drake Maye: Speaking of playing guys against crappy defenses – see Pittsburgh. Good matchup for Maye against a D that has been a lesser version than we thought.

RB:

Jordan Mason: No Aaron Jones. No problem for Minnesota, for Mason has looked good with his chances. And, this week he will be the workhorse. Good chance to shine against a middle ground Cincy D.

Rhamondre Stevenson: He faces the team with the worst rush D in Pittsburgh so far this year. You read that right. Play him as he runs over all those names.

WR:

D. J. Moore: Other receivers for Chicago have had their play, and now it is Moore’s turn to get his as he faces a weak Cowboys pass D.

Matthew Golden: WIth Reed hurt and not available at the moment, the big plays have to go somewhere. So call it a hunch, but I say he gets his 1st TD against Cleveland this week.

TE:

Kyle Pitts: He is facing a Panthers D that has given up the most fantasy points to tight ends so far this season. A wonderful matchup.

Juwan Johnson: Keep rolling with him as he faces a Seattle D that is bottom 3 in the league against the position.

D:

Seahawks: Is their D under your radar? Not mine. They are a solid play at home against the lowly Saints.
