Recap from Week 4: What a game that was. So close by Zona, but somehow still so far away. Let’s see if I was close or far away. I first noted to start Trey Benson. Well, his take over did not take off for he only had 35 yards rushing, 19 yards receiving, no scores, and a fumble recovery. Not good enough; I was wrong to start him. Next, I said to start Sam Darnold. He ended up with 242 yards passing, 24 yards rushing, and a TD. Just over projections; I was right to start him. Finally, I said to sit Marvin Harrison, Jr. Well, he got only 66 yards receiving, but he also scored a TD, thereby making me wrong to sit him
Week 5 brings us to LA as the Rams host division rivals San Francisco. This should be close, and I don’t usually do this, but stay with your studly type of people – Purdy and McCaffrey in San Fran and Stafford, Williams, and Pacua in LA; bench your maybes – Pearsall and Jennings in San Fran and Adams and Higbee in LA, and finally, both kickers are good plays this week.
