  1. I will admit when I am wrong.  I did not envision Michael Wilson (WR-Ari) becoming a major fantasy story, I will admit it.  (Now, in my defense, I also did not envision Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR-Ari) missing multiple games, but that is irrelevant at this point.)  The third-year pro is seeing a classic Year 3 breakout for the WR position.  In the three games Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR-Ari) has missed, Michael Wilson (WR-Ari) has seen 18,15, and 16 targets. His worst game of the three had 10 receptions for 118 yards.  Marvin Harrison Jr. is not playing in Week 15.  Even against a tough Houston defense this week, Wilson is still a top 5 WR play, in my opinion.

  1. Sometimes, however, I am also correct.  At the beginning of the year, I wrote the following about Harold Fannin Jr. (TE-Cle): I love the potential here and envision a top 8 finish among TEs for the season. He is currently TE7 on the season in PPR, and TE10 in standard.  I do like my chances of getting this prediction correct.

  1. My reaction to TNF’s Philadelphia-Los Angeles Chargers game involves three observations:

Bucky Irving (RB-TB), sadly, cannot be trusted as nothing more than a low end RB2.  He has not topped 54% of the snaps since his return, but the elephant in the room is losing Red Zone, particularly goal line, opportunities to Sean Tucker (RB-TB). In addition, as far as keeper and dynasty leaguers go, you have to wonder about the future if all of the same players and coaches are involved.

Omarion Hampton (RB-LAC) has returned and looked good, but I don’t think Kimani Vidal (RB-LAC) is going away.  This coaching staff likes splitting the RB snaps, and though I think Hampton will be RB1A, Vidal still looks like RB1B.

A. J. Brown (WR-Phi) has been a dominant WR the past three weeks, seeing at least 10 targets and going for 100 or more receiving yards in each of those games.  However, it sure does seem like there is a correlation between the concerted effort to get Brown involved and the inconsistent play of the offense, as Philadelphia has lost all three of those games.  There are other variables contributing as well, to be sure.  I only bring this up because the coaching staff may change up its approach regarding Brown’s involvement.  That said, until that happens, Brown stays in the top 5 WR discussion.

  1. For many of you, the playoffs are now at hand.  The best advice I can give you is this:  stick with the players who got you here.  Don’t get cute.

  1. The exception to the advice above, however, is any player on the NYJ aside from Breece Hall (RB-NYJ).  (But let’s face it; if you are in the play-offs or still alive in your league, you probably have not been starting New York Jets offensive players.

  1. If you are looking ahead, Bam Knight (RB-Ari) plays Cincinnati’s worst ranking rush defense in Week 17.  Knight is available in 68% of fantasy leagues.  Just saying.

  1.  Deep-leaguers needing a play for Week 15 may consider Isaac TeSlaa (WR-Det), Andrei Iosivas (WR-Cin), or Mitchell Tinsley (WR-Cin).

  1. I wonder how Indianapolis’s offense will fare under Philip Rivers (QB-Ind) behind center.  I will say, I could see a scenario where Rivers throws several YOLO balls, particularly to Michael Pittman Jr. (WR-Ind).  Pittman Jr. May be undervalued in Week 15.

  1. I am probably the only one left on this hill, but I still believe in Ricky Pearsall (WR-SF).  San Fran is coming out of the bye week, so maybe we will see a concerted effort to involve Pearsall more than the last few games.

  1. And finally…, I wonder what happened to my friend who crossed paths with a snowman and a vampire yesterday.  I guess he got frostbite.
